Two cooks, Tom Becker and Francesca Arniotes, are great friends who love food and have pretty much opposite approaches to cooking!

Tom is a trained chef who layers on flavors and plays with his food. With his Midwestern farm roots, he elevates familiar American fare to new depths of flavor and heights of tastiness. From hot dogs and mac and cheese to scallops and sauces, he will show you how to turn your mealtime into a white tablecloth restaurant dinner or the most spectacular tailgate lunch.

Fran has been cooking since age 11 and keeps it simple, fast and frugal. Equipped with the familiarity of “peasant food” of many regional and world cuisines, she will teach you how to serve up fresh and vibrant tastes, colors and aromas family style.

Our classes will help you master new techniques and discover how different techniques can relate to each other and how they can be combined to produce really fine food. And best of all, it all turns out deliciously.

Whether you are a new cook or an advanced kitcheneer, you’ll create dishes and meals that are incredibly tasty, and along the way, we’ll have lots of fun. Bring family, bring a friend or two, make it a team building activity for the office. Be entertained, educated and eat some great food!
